You’ll be reporting directly to the Finance Director and work closely with the three other team members across our offices in Groningen and Amsterdam. As our Financial Controller, you’ll focus on the entire financial administration, from overseeing salary payments to determining provisions. This role is an essential part of the department that supports the BNL operations.
Your responsibilities include:
Controlling the P&L and balance sheet, including accounts payable and accounts receivable;
Preparing monthly financial reporting decks and reporting to our Shareholder (Vivendi);
Monitoring the bank balances and weekly reporting on cash flow (forecast) of the entities and the cash of the promoters;
Managing the AO/IC processes and making suggestions for improvements contributing profitability, scalability and efficiency;
Submitting and accountability for VAT and local tax returns.
Managing the cash controlling of our ticketing platform, weekly promoter payouts and monitoring credit limits to mitigate risks;
Provide support to the Business Controller and take responsibility for a thorough cost and profit centre accounting;
Preparing the financial statements and handling the yearly audit with third parties.
Minimum HBO education in Economics and/or Accounting;
3 years of relevant work experience in a dynamic environment;
You’re proactive and are always focussing on solutions instead of problems;
Good knowledge and experience in IFRS and Dutch GAAP;
Good computer skills with apps within G Suite, MS-office and Exact, experience with Lucanet is a plus;
Ability to manage numerous priorities and accept responsibility for meeting deadlines.
