Our state-of-the-art ticketing solution makes millions of fans across the globe excited to purchase their tickets for their favourite events.


You'll report directly to the Head of Finance and work closely with the five other team members across our offices in Groningen and Amsterdam. As our Business Controller, you'll focus on monitoring and adjusting the forecasts and budgets. You will handle incoming reporting requests from within the organisation and from our biggest clients. This role is an essential part of the department that supports the financial side of the BNL operations.


Your responsibilities include:

  • Creating financial reports to analyse the financial performance of the organisation;

  • Analysing financial data to spot trends, areas of improvement and possible risks;

  • Managing and monitoring the budgets and forecasting future performance of the business;

  • You will be the financial sparring partner of our biggest clients and assist them in assessing the events' success and visiting them occasionally;

  • Preparing monthly financial reporting decks for the management team to provide them with insights on financial variances;

  • Discuss the monthly results with various stakeholders, such as Business Development or Client Success;

  • Managing one direct report by training and coaching them. This colleague is working from our Groningen office;

  • The freedom and responsibility to start or work on different (financial) projects with multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and/or Accounting;

  • Three years of relevant work experience in a dynamic environment;

  • You have good proficiency in Dutch or English;

  • You’re a positive thinker who likes to think of solutions instead of problems;

  • You’re a self-starter and commercially driven;

  • Good knowledge and experience in Excel, Exact and Google Suite;

  • Ability to manage numerous priorities and accept responsibility for meeting deadlines.

  • You’re pragmatic, analytical, and a real go-getter;
