Our state of the art solution is being used by millions of fans across the globe to purchase their tickets for their favourite events. To keep up to speed with the latest developments we’re looking for a software engineer that definitely knows a thing or two about scalability, flexibility and good coding! Are you that person? We are See Tickets, formerly known as Paylogic in the Benelux. Our story starts in the '80s as Way Ahead Records, a Nottingham-based record shop in the UK. Since then, we gained nearly 25 years of experience in the live entertainment business and ticketing. With our highly flexible and scalable ticketing platform, we serve over more than a thousand international clients from sports events to theatre and concert venues and festivals such as Amsterdam Dance Event, André Rieu, ID&T, RTL, Tomorrowland, Paradiso and Glastonbury Festival.


As a Software Engineer at See Tickets, you’ll have the ownership to program and produce incredible software products for our shops. Our Software Engineers in Groningen and Amsterdam are genuinely passionate about what they do. They are looking for their next member who creates high-quality code which is scalable and reusable. You’ll be working from the Groningen office, and some of your challenges consist out of:


  • Applying the latest technology trends with the use of modern software engineering methods (Agile, Kanban).
  • Working with state of the art Python libraries and frameworks.
  • Involvement in the planning of features right from the start and own them through development, testing and release.
  • Working on business-critical, high load concurrent systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree (preferably in Computer science or related fields).
  • Willing to relocate to Groningen.
  • Experience in back-end web programming.
  • Experience in task queues such as celery.
  • Inherent curiosity into how things are made and how they work.
